Welcome To The Friars of Amazonia

We are the Franciscans of the São Benedito Custody of the Amazon, with an inheritance of missionary presence of Franciscan friars who came from Germany, Northeastern Brazil and the United States of America to this land more than 100 years ago. We became an autonomous custody on March 10, 1990.
